At Least 5 East Baton Rouge Zip Codes Impacted As Well. I think the Banks waited to take homes back because they already had a glut of them. Im seeing competing distressed sales rates of 35 to 54% in 4 local zip codes in searches from 03 2010 to 03 2013. It finally caught up with these zip codes. BR Real Estate is having a fantastic year in the more favorable zip codes but it’s not at all an across the board positive for all zip codes. However, in those East Baton Rouge Zip Codes Already performing well, this shouldn’t be a major concern.
